New-new version!

I released a new beta version the other day, but didn’t post a changelog. Well, here’s yet another release already, and therefore also the changelogs for both releases. UPDATE: Pre12 didn’t have the prefix Add/Remove buttons in vineyard-preferences hooked up, so another new release!

Quick teaser: Shell links

Bug fix release

A few people experienced issues with the previous testing release and there were indeed a few show stopping issues, so let’s bring on the bug fix release!
Fixed in pre10: python-wine:
- python-wine will now exit with a fitting message if Wine is not installed

New pre-release out! It’s building in the PPA right now and available for download here: python-wine pre9 and vineyard pre9.

- Supports symlinking a directory to a configuration

Finally! It’s late, it’s Christmas and the next test release has been uploaded!
- Program editing works now
- Running programs (especially from vineyard-cli) is more stable and easier with regards to syntax and also works much better with older programs and patchers
- Loading and saving settings is somewhat faster now

Important about the Testing PPA

I made a mistake in the version numbers in the Testing PPA which made it impossible to upgrade the packages. This has now been fixed, but you most likely need to first uninstall python-wine and vineyard and then re-install them after updating your package information. Sorry for the trouble. Good More >
New Vineyard Testing PPA

There have been a few requests for a testing PPA, so that has now been created.
You can find it here or add it to your sources by running the following commands in a terminal:
sudo add-apt-repository ppa:cybolic/vineyard-testing
sudo apt-get update
and then install Vineyard by running the following command:
sudo apt-get install More >
